Yesterday I sketched a resident as I visited with her. At first she was resistant to me sketching her, but then she really enjoyed it- she enjoyed the attention and one on one time with me. I want to do a painting of her illustrating a story she tells, so this sketch is a start for that. I have always had a tough time with portraits, so the practice is good for me. It was really fun to do.

Doodle VI - Pearl.
