The other night while I was sketching, the kids got inspired, and drew too. Above is Ted's sketch of Sadie sitting on the couch sketching. I like it because it's obvious he was looking at what he was drawing. Our couch has those arms and feet and the curvy wood on the bottom. 
And this is Sadie's sketch. This drawing reminded her of a Far Side comic. I like her work with scale here. Today in home school with Nora's kids, we discussed the nervous system and brain, and then we mixed paint and learned about the color wheel. The kids always love playing with paint!
