Geocaching (geo-cashing) is done using a GPS, entering coordinates found online (most popular site is geocaching.com) and then using it to locate the cache. There are various size caches, and it is noted on the entry online what size the cache is- large, like a restaurant size mayo container to micro, a tiny slip of folded paper.
Depending on your GPS, it can get you within 10 feet of the cache. Then you have to search...

Inside the cache is a log that you sign, and if there is room, swag items- little doodads that you can trade. There also may be "travel bugs" that you can remove, log in on the computer to see where it came from and where it's headed, and then you can drop it off into another cache. After going geocaching, you go back and log on the website which caches you find, or didn't find, and leave comments.If you are interested, go look at youtube videos on geocaching. Some of the caches can be quite challenging to get to, or to find. There is quite a network of people doing this around the world.
