Where we stayed.

I will be taking this slow, I have been needing the "vacation after the vacation" this week. We are all battling colds and such.

We stayed at Johnson's Angler's Haven between Houghton, MI and Chassel. Right on Portage Lake. The swimming was really nice- shallow for the kids with a really sandy bottom.

Our cabin was one room with a little bathroom off the back. Here it is during a sun shower. I told Sadie she can now say she's spent a week in a one room cabin. My guess is they were built in the 1920's. The decor was vintage 1950's cabin stuff. Cute, in a functional sort of way.

When I came home, my house seemed cavernous after the tiny cabin.
