Jill did a writing workshop for Sadie and Maria this week. She has a degree in English and has tutoring experience, so she had lots of ideas for teaching about writing. Sadie enjoyed it, and is working on a story she outlined and started then.
Here is Jill's take on it.
Sadie has not liked my input on her writing, so this was a great help for me. I think it is too personal for her to take critique from her mom on her writing. She doesn't feel that way about other subjects.
Thanks, Jill! If anyone else in the area wants to teach a lesson, let Nora or myself know. We welcome guest teachers! For example, Kellie taught a science lesson a couple months back and did a great job with some experiments and introducing the scientific method.
