Saturday morning we went down to the local fire hall for doughnuts and fire truck rides.
I think the Fire Department is as much about community pride as it is about fires. Which is okay. It is a volunteer department.
The guys down there were really good with the kids. Probably because they are dads too. Part of the point in showing the kids this stuff is so they are not scared if a fireman had to rescue them.
I like the slo-mo effect of these low light pictures.
At the very least, I hope my kids learned not to play with matches.
