At dog training last night, many of the dogs were "in a mood" barking and snarling at each other and not behaving calmly. Lucille, the instructor, said it was probably the full moon. Who knew?
Also, she said Jasper has security issues. As in, he is insecure around the other dogs. Maybe it's from hanging around two cats all the time?
The dogs and their trainers got quite a workout last night. Jasper climbed in the car afterwards and dropped his head and closed his eyes. Sadie was almost as tired. Lucille is tough- she can holler those commands and critique, but she does praise them when they do it right. Jasper has been a bit of a challenge- he's only a year old and he is pretty big for Sadie to handle at times, but she is getting stronger and more commanding with him.
She is still unsure that she wants to show him, but I am hoping she comes around by fair time. It would be their chance to show what they have worked so hard at all spring.

Jan, with your artistic eye would you have a suggestion on how to display framed photos using a table for instance? i'm considering setting up a table at our farmer's market for a few Fridays this summer.
any tidbit would be appreciated. i just don't have a creative bone in my body for this part.

Lucille is still doing training?!? Wow. She's amazing and has a way with dogs and kids. I hope to find someone like her to work with when we get a dog someday...
Tell Sadie to stick with it and practice at home as much as she can - it makes a huge difference.
