A short detour.

The kids and I traveled to my niece's wedding this past weekend.

On the way home we took a short detour off the highway to visit Camp Ripley's Military Museum. Unfortunately the museum had closed about 45 minutes before we got there, but we were still able to look at all the equipment they have on display outside: helicopters, tanks, etc.
The boys especially enjoyed it. Sam is into "soldiers" and army right now.
Not sure what these buildings are for.

We will definitely stop again to visit inside the museum. I think it is a suggested $3 donation to go inside, the hours are 10 am to 5pm, 7 days a week during the summer months.
