Painting on trees.

The kids were itching to paint today, so I wrapped paper around two trees in the front yard for them to paint on. (Newsprint roll ends from the newspaper office, $2 a roll) It gave them a big canvas to paint on, and it was upright. I gave them bigger brushes than usual, too. We even got some Jackson Pollack-style spatters on there.
For now the paper is still on the trees, showing off their work.
Another one of those projects we don't have to save :) The process is the project.

I love this idea! I love your creativity. This looks like such a fun 'kid' project.

Really great idea! Often so hard to find surface outside to paint and draw on..
