Lucy's Diner

Last weekend, I was asked to share my short order cooking skills. It was quite the experience.

My niece, Sophie, cooked up a fun plan for the kyds: she set up a 50's Diner in her parents' house, and then staffed it with the Confirmation-age kids and a few of us old ladies (sorry, Morgan).
There has been requests to share some photos of the joint and it's staff, these photos were sent to me.

The two soda jerks, Glenn and Eugene.
They did a very fine job whipping up sundaes, shakes and the like.
The view looking into the kitchen, with some of the staff.
Here is the crew of waitresses, ready to serve you. They all had names too.
I was Maude, by the way.
 The setting.
The menu.
A shot of the counter.
The awesome part was that most of the customers came in decked out in their best 50's outfit. Those who didn't hid in the corners, a bit embarrassed at being duds. 'Cause they were.
The kyds in these parts know how to have a good time. Even Maude in the kitchen had a good time!
