Gifts.

I received a gift today. Well, more than one. But one that I will share here and now...

The elementary librarian sent home a book with Sadie for me to read, in reference to a column I wrote about gift giving a few weeks ago. 

For someone to read my column, and then be inspired to share a book with me because of it, feels really special. I appreciate the effort on her part to show me that she enjoyed my column. 

The book is The Gift of Nothing by Patrick McDonnell. It's a cute children's book. I like the illustrations and the story.
