This son of mine turned ten on Saturday. He wanted to celebrate his birthday while we were camping.
Sam has often gotten this style of birthday cake- must be the time of the year. I don't sweat parties too hard, but we do celebrate. What's better than a camping birthday?

cute shot! camping memories are always some of the best memories. We had the same experience too as one of my daughter's birthdays falls on August 31.
Like Sonja's typically is celebrated in the UP, since it's in August. Camping birthdays are great. Easy clean up, right??
