Jasper goes to school.

I forgot to bring my camera this evening.

Sadie and Jasper had their first session of dog training. Jasper did pretty well after a bit- by the end he was getting the hang of heeling and walking on Sadie's left side around the ring. She got a bit more firm with him by the end, too. Sadie was pretty excited afterwards, and said it was fun.

We/She has to decide which breed she wants to show Jasper as-Australian Shepard or Border Collie. During dog shows, the judge will ask her questions about the breed- such as history, characteristics, etc. and Sadie will have to know about her breed of dog.

Just a fun bit of trivia: Mason, the collie who played Lassie in the 2005 Lassie movie was trained here at the same classes (same instructor) that Sadie is taking Jasper to.
