Inverse adventure.

This year, we are experiencing an "inverse adventure". The adventure is coming to us, in the form of an exchange student. 

Andrea (Ahn-drae-ah) joined our family in late August. She is sharing a room with Sadie, does her share of household chores, goes to school and has integrated temporarily into our family. She will be here for 10 months, with two months having flown by already. 

Andrea is from Ecuador, so her native tongue is Spanish. She is used to very temperate weather, days of equal night and day year round-meaning the sun rises and sets at 6 a.m. and p.m. every day. 

Winter will interesting this year. 

For us, we get a glimpse of our life from an outsider's viewpoint. Why do we do what we do? We have eight more months to see ourselves from another perspective!
