It is Wednesday, and I hope my kids are finally through the Grandparent withdrawal symptoms. Ron's mom and dad were here Thursday through Sunday last week.
In our house, Grandma and Grandpa J. coming is right up there with Santa Claus in excitement level. I never had far-away grandparents growing up, (I just had one grandma- 45 min. away) so I never had the excitement of them staying right at our own house until now. As much as we'd love to have them closer, the fact that they come and stay for 3 (or more!) nights is so much fun...it is a different experience than just visiting grandparents in shorter doses.
So this week the kids have been riled up and sassy- letdown after the big weekend. Yesterday we went to the library, so hopefully today they can settle in and read.
